Northern Chef Fiji Albacore Tuna is wild caught in the pristine waters near the island of Fiji. The appealing pink color of our albacore tuna differentiates it from the other deep red tuna species. Our tuna is frozen at sea right after harvesting to attain the freshest quality and preserve the color after defrosting. The mild rich taste of Fiji Albacore Tuna is perfect for grilling, baking or searing.

Thawing Instructions:

Thaw overnight in a refrigerator, then rinse with cold running water and pat dry. For a quick thaw, place vacuum bag under cold running water for 15 minutes. Remove from vacuum bag, rinse with cold water and pat dry.
